So i'm starting a formal list of participating artists, since i've only mentioned this to artists who I thought would be good for this show I have not met my need for entries. I was hoping word of mouth would spread a little more before I had to ask through other means but here i go forth indeed.
Deadline for submission, and this submision will just be a formal contact with me via e-mail or otherwise with your piece, we can talk about it in detail, what you will be doing and why.

NEEDED:
bay area artists who want to be a part of an visual arts covers compilation show.
the idea is that you choose a piece from an established artists to re-interpret, the same way a musician would when they choose to cover a song.
THIS SHOW IS A COVERS SHOW>>>>>>
criteria:
1. when choosing a piece to cover, think about it in the same way you would approach it in music. its appreciation and critique as well as your participation in something that you gravitate towards already in existence.
2. choose a contemporary artist. its not so necessary that they be terribly famous. the point isn't really to recognize the original, its to appreciate the cover.
